Center-Left Leaders Fail to Agree on Obstructive Bloc

Labor leader Shelly Yechimovich, Hatnua leader Tzipi Livni and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid were unable to agree on an "obstructive bloc" to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during their meeting Sunday night, Channel 2 News reported. According to the report, the three party leaders agreed to focus on bringing down the Netanyahu government rather than campaigning against each other during the two weeks that remain until the election. However, there was no agreement on the issue of joining the Netanyahu government, as both Livni and Lapid continued to refuse to publicly state they won't join a Likud-led coalition.
