Moshe Feiglin Released

Chairman Moshe Feiglin of the Manhigut Yehudit (Jewish Leadership) faction of the Likud party was released, around noon on Tuesday, after he was detained on suspicion of having prostrated himself on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City. In spite of the holiness of the site to Jews, the Waqf Muslim Authority on the Temple Mount views anything resembling non-Muslim prayer as provocative.

No restrictions were placed on Feiglin, nor was he required to sign anything. Earlier he was offered release if he signed on a bond to cease and desist.
