Otzma Leyisrael Man Files Complaint on Zoabi Decision

Eliyahu Nissim, a member of the Otzma Leyisrael party, filed a complaint with the commissioner of judges, Sunday, following the Supreme Court decision to overturn the Central Elections Committee decision to disqualify Member of Knesset Hanin Zoabi (Balad)  from running in January's Knesset election. The complaint was filed against High Court president Asher Grunis, vice president Miriam Naor and the seven other members of the nine-judge panel.

Nissim's complaint cited Zoabi's participation in the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara's attempt to break the Gaza naval blockade in 2010, noting she was photographed next to other participants who were armed, disproving her claim that she didn't know about the ambush of Israeli commandos and that the only weapons she saw were those of the commandos. He also cited statements she made, inciting terror.
