Refusal to Negotiate will Bring End of Zionist Dream

Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid party came out strongly, Sunday, against the reaction of the Likud-Beyteinu party to the remarks of President Shim'on Peres to foreign diplomats, earlier in the day. Lapid said,  "The government's ignoring the deteriorating political situation in Israel only bequeaths the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to our children."

Lapid added, "There is no other solution other than two states for two peoples. Rather than producing headlines devoid of content, the Likud and its leaders should act out of respect for the president of the state instead of using him as a tool to outflank [Habayit Hayehudi chairman Naftali] Bennett
