Sources in the United States and other Western countries say that Iran has slowed the pace of its uranium enrichment for military puposes and signalled a willingness to reach an agreement on its nuclear development program, according to a Thursday report by the New York Times.
The sources say that already this summer, the Islamic Republic began to make some of its enriched uranium the medium-grade variety which is difficult to turn into the weapons grade.
