Rabbi Council Meets on Permissible Christmas Symbols

The Chief Rabbinate Council is expected to determine, Monday, which symbols of Christmas are considered mere folklore and which are considered idolatry and constitute cause for revocation of an establishment's certificate of kashrut.

The ruling relates to the presence of idolatry preventing a kashrut supervisor from working in a business.
