The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.0892, down .141 percent, while 100 Japanese yen rose .108 percent to 4.4583 shekels. The Australian dollar was fixed at 3.913 shekels, down .458 percent, while its Canadian counterpart declined .137 percent to NIS 3.7835. The South African Rand was set at NIS .4385, down .364 percent.
