The nurses' strike will continue on Tuesday. A meeting at the National Labor Court between the Treasury and the nurses' union ended with no progress late Monday night, though Court President Justice Nili Arad offered the sides a process to resolve the dispute. The parties will respond to Arad's offer on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Finance said on Monday night that the core of the dispute is over the implementation of the new agreement. The State is demanding that the agreement be implemented over a period of five years, while the nurses are demanding a four-year time period.
