MK Miri Regev (Likud) responded on her Facebook page Monday to the decision of the Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein not disqualify MK Hanin Zoabi from running in the upcoming elections.
"I'm sorry that the Attorney General decided not to disqualify the Knesset candidacy of Haneen Zoabi. Zoabi is just one example of Arab Knesset members who operate against Israel from within parliament," wrote Regev.
"MKs of this kind are why we have to preserve and protect the interests of the Jewish state. In the coming days I will file a bill that says that all parties must put on their platform that they are for the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state," she added.
