Bennett on Removing Haredim from Poverty

Chairman of the Jewish Home party Naftali Bennett responded to a report published by "Latet" which said that "the way to remove the Haredim from poverty is through enlistment into the army and integration into the work force, and it should be gradually rather than coerced."

Bennett agreed, and explained that giving Haredi men and Israeli-Arab women, two sectors of the population with low economic oppurtunities, the tools to allow them to join the work force is in the economic and social interests of everyone.
