Gaza Fishing Boat Goes Too Far; 1 Shot and Wounded

A Gaza fisherman suffered light-to-moderate wounds, Monday morning, when the boat he was in went beyond the area designated for fishing off the northern coast of the Hamas-ruled area and its pilot did not respond to instructions from the Israeli navy to return to the permitted area, which was doubled after the Pillar of Defense counter-terror campaign. The navy unit fired a warning shot in the boat's direction. Navy sailors administered first aid before transferring the fisherman to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
