Netanyahu, Sa'ar Host, Praise Teachers

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Gid'on Sa'ar hosted teachers and principals, Sunday, at the Prime Minister's Office and praised them for Israel's recent rise in international test scores for fourth and eighth graders, calling the results "big achievements for teachers in Israel".

Netanyahu showed the visitors a seal with the name "Netanyahu" inscribed in ancient Hebrew, which was found in the Western Wall area of Jerusalem's Old City. In a play on words in Hebrew (Tzionut and Metzuyanut), he said, "We are returning Zionism and excellence science and heritage [to education]."
