Civilian Service Chief Receives Threatening Letter

Arutz Sheva learned, Tuesday, that the security officer for the National Service administration has filed a complaint with police over a threatening letter received at the home of the volunteer services director-general, Sar-Shalom Jerbi. The letter, signed by "Those who want the best for your soul and sign the holy orders," was received after Jerbi voiced his support for a program to recruit hareidi-religious Jews into the service.

Jerbi reacted by saying, "I am not afraid and I will continue my work with a sense of mission. I rely on the bodies who know how to deal with the matter in an appropriate way."
