Egyptian opposition activists have called for demonstrations on Tuesday in Cairo’s Tahrir Square and throughout the country, in protest against an upcoming referendum on the new constitution.
The constitution gives President Mohammed Morsi extended powers, but there are also sections in it meant to limit the president’s powers.
