Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin spoke with several of his colleagues around the world about Palestinian efforts to upgrade their status at the UN.
Speaking with the chairmen of the parliaments of Germany, France and Italy, Rivlin said that the attempt by the PA to bypass Israel and the United States is wrong, saying, "Peace between Israel and the Palestinians must come through direct negotiations," adding that the Palestinians are looking for shortcuts.
