There were fatalities in two car bombings Wednesday morning in Damascus, Xinhua reports, quoting Syria’s Al-Ekhbaria TV. In addition to the car bombs, attackers set off two homemade explosives.
The attack took place in the Jaramana neighborhood, which has a primarily Christian and Druze population.
Earlier in the day Syrian rebels accused the government of having killed 20 people in an air strike. The victims were reportedly farmers working in an olive oil factory.
