The Women for Israel's Tomorrow, a non-governmental organization, called for a return to Gush Katif, the Jewish communities that existed in Gaza before the Disengagement of 2005. Leaders Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar advocated that following the liquidation of terrorist infrastructure, that paramilitary outposts be established followed with permanent civilian communities.
  
The group toured southern border communities to distribute drinks and snacks to soldiers and residents. They reported that the soldiers morale was very high.
