Charge: Border Guards Attacked Arabs, Claimed Reverse

The Police Investigative Unit submitted indictments to the Jerusalem Magistrates Court, Monday, charging two former Border Guards with attack involving bodily injury, obstruction of justice and false evidence.

According to the indictments, Omri Cohen and Danny Avra met Rafat 'ajluni while on an operation near the Lion's Gate of Jerusalem's Old City. They allegedly took him to a nearby cemetery, where Cohen is accused of striking 'ajluni with the butt of a gun handed to him by Avra, causing 'ajluni to bleed. To cover up the incident, they allegedly arrested 'ajluni for attacking officers and coordinated their version of the story.
