Rivlin: Oslo Concept Failed but I Appreciate Rabin

As expected, Speaker Reuven Rivlin told the Knesset, Sunday, that the concept behind the Oslo Accords - which led to creation of the Palestinian Authority - was a failure. Addressing a special session to mark the 17th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin, Rivli also said, "Despite the difficult disagreements between us, I appreciate Rabin from the depths of my heart. He sought to formulate a vision which, according to his perspective, would ensure Israel's existence, and he will be remembered in the history of Israel as a military commander, a leader, as a dreamer and a fighter for the freedom of Israel."
