Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin agreed Sunday to postpone a special Knesset session scheduled for Monday by one week. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had requested the delay.

The Knesset was to meet Monday to debate several laws put forth by the government. Rivlin explained that he had accepted Netanyahu’s request because it was the government that had asked to hold the session.
