Schools have closed in the town of Omer in southern Israel due to a rocket attack and subsequent school cancellation in the nearby city of Be’er Sheva. Most of Omer’s teachers live in Be’er Sheva and must remain at home with their own children, who will be staying home.
Preschools in Omer will operate as usual.
