Defense Minister Ehud Barak has decided to implement a series of relief measures to Palestinian Authority Arabs during the Muslim Eid al-Adha holiday, which started Friday and will end on Monday.
The measures include extending the hours of operation of the crossings into Israel and granting permits to visit families in Israel with no age limit. The decision was made in accordance with the recommendation of Chief of Staff Benny Gantz, and after assessments by Central Command and by the Coordinator of Government Activities in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
