New Law: Summer Time until October

The Knesset’s Internal Affairs and Environment Committee has approved a bill that will extend Summer Time until early October at the earliest. Previously, Summer Time ended before Yom Kippur, meaning it would sometimes end in September as it did this year.

The change will mean an average of 193 days a year on Summer Time, rather than an average of 182 days per year.
