The Land of Israel Legal Forum has welcomed the State Prosecution’s decision to appeal former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s partial “not guilty” verdict.

“A reality in which cash passes from hand to hand cannot be a court-approved norm in an enlightened country,” said Legal Forum directory Nachi Eyal. “The Supreme Court should have a say, so that the Israeli public can put trust in its leaders and in the legal system.”
