U.S. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said on Monday that the economic difficulties which Iran currently faces are the result of the sanctions imposed on it, but also because of the Iranian regime’s failed economic and political conduct.
Earlier on Monday, the EU improved a package of new economic sanctions on Tehran.
