There was a 23.5% fall in the number of vehicles imported into Israel in September, the Tax Authority said. The total number of vehicles imported into Israel in September was 10,400, as compared to 13,600 in August. The Authority said that the fall was likely due to the fact that there were so many days off in September, with car sales agencies and outlets closed.

As such, sales are expected to rise significantly in October.
