Elkin Confirms: Netanyahu Wants Elections on Jan 22nd

Coalition Chairman Ze'ev Elkin told Arutz Sheva, Thursday, that the draft of the government's bill for dissolving the 18th Knesset specifies January 22 as the date for elections to the 19th Knesset. The bill is scheduled for Sunday's cabinet meeting and Monday's opening of the Knesset's winter session.

The dispersing of the Knesset and the new elections are a result of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's failure to get coalition agreement on the 2013 budget.
