Riots broke out in Greece on Tuesday during a visit from German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Protesters clashed with police, who attempted to disperse them with tear gas.

The protesters blame Germany for pushing austerity measures on Greece in an attempt to save the euro. During her visit Merkel pledged that Germany would continue its support for Greece.
