‘Global Sukkot’ Teaches Israelis about Diaspora Life

The city of Netanya, along with the Diaspora House and Public Relations Ministry, is hosting a “Global Sukkot” celebration at which Israelis can learn about life in Jewish communities around the world. The main attraction is an enormous sukkah (temporary dwelling) filled with stations representing various countries.

At each station there are activities aimed at teaching the unique story of each community.

Visitors are also able to take part in a massive art project in which they create and photograph an arrangement representing their family. The various creations made by each family will be integrated in one large image and will go on display at the Diaspora House.
