Hevron Peace House to Return to Jews in 30 Days

The Jerusalem District Court ruled, Thursday evening, that the Peace House in the Judean city of Hevron, whose Jewish residents were evicted in December 2008, will be placed in the hands of the Tal company, which claimed ownership on behalf of Hevron's Jewish community.

Judge Moshe Bar'am wrote that the property was temporarily in state hands, pending a final decision on ownership. He gave the state 30 days to return the property to the Hevron Jewish community. He also ruled that Arabs who claimed ownership pay court and attorney fees of 50,000 shekels.
