Minister Yossi Peled has submitted his resignation from the Knesset to Knesset Chairman Reuven Rivlin Thursday afternoon. Rivlin wished Peled success in his new position as chairman of the Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline company and expressed his appreciation for Peled’s contribution to society, the Israel Defense Forces and to politics.
Rivlin announced that replacing Peled in the Likud party will be Alali Admassu, the PM's advisor on Ethiopian affairs.
