The Kfar Saba Magistrates Court has ruled that a suspect in the poisoning of the Lerner family from Raanana will be held in jail until trial. The suspect, Hussam Abed el-Rahim, is believed to have worked with others to slip poison into various beverages in the family’s kitchen.
Several people drank the poison, including both parents and a small child, and were hospitalized. They have since recovered.
