Rabbi Yitzchak Levi, the former head of the Mafdal, had praise Tuesday for the unity agreement signed between Jewish Home candidate Naftali Bennet and MKs from the National Union party. “This is wonderful news for religious Zionism and the nationalist camp,” he said.
“This is the unity that the public has been awaiting for so long,” he continued. “Naftali Bennet did the right thing in not waiting, and immediately signing the way to unity in the religious-Zionist camp.”
Some in the Jewish Home party, formerly the Mafdal, had criticized Bennet for signing a deal when he has not yet been elected to office.
