An increase of seven percent is expected at the various retail chains dealing in food, clothing, durables and home furnishings during the fall Jewish holidays that begin next week, according to a survey just released by the Economics branch of Israel's Chamber of Commerce Association.

The seven-percent increase is in comparison to the months preceding and following the holidays, based on figures from previous years.
