Hundreds of people attended the funeral Monday of Lior Farhi, who was killed in a terror hit and run Monday at the Oranim checkpoint on Road 5. Farhi was the security coordinator of the town of Sha'arei Tikvaj, and was killed when an Arab drove a van full of illegal Arabs through the checkpoint. Farhi, who was recording the incident, “paid with his life” trying to stop illegal Arabs from reaching Tel Aviv, Gershon Mesika, the leader of the Samarian Regional Council, told Arutz Sheva.

Farhi's funeral was being held at the military section of the Segula cemetery in Petach Tivah.
