Syria: Morsi a Partner in the Bloodbath

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said, Thursday, that Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi's words that the government in Damascus must be changed are "a clear attack on the right of the Syrian people to choose its future by itself, without outside involvement."

A statement by the ministry said that Morsi's words, as publicized by international media, were intended to continue to incite violence in the country. Quoting from the statement, "It's no different than any other government which supports armed terrorists with money and weapons, giving shelter and training. It has made the Egyptians partners in the bloodbath in Syria."
