Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad plans to submit his resignation to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas when Abbas returns to Ramallah from a visit in Egypt, the PA-based Quds Net reported on Wednesday night.

Sources close to Fayyad were quoted as saying that “Fayyad is seriously thinking of quitting, and this time there will be no changing his mind.
