The graduation ceremony for navel officer sin the Israeli Defense Force took place Wednesday. In attendance were IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt. General Benyamin Gantz, Commander of the Israeli Navy General Ram Rothberg, graduates of the course, and family members.

Lt.-Gen. Gantz stated, "the strategic fabric is changing all the time, in light of the growth in the maritime sector sea has become a decisive factor in different scenarios." While the navy's intend is to maintain calm and normalcy, Lt. Gen Gantz warned any potential enemies, "if you push us, you will find that we have the means, knowledge and operational capabilities to protect the safety of the citizens of Israel."
