Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin paid a visit Wednesday to the Mifalot Center, a new umbrella group uniting religious-Zionist charitable organizations. “I’m happy to be here and to see this tremendous enterprise,” he said. “This is an important body for bridging the gap in Israeli society.”

Project head Tzvi Tzoibel suggested that Members of Knesset take part in volunteer activity through Mifalot. Rivlin agreed that MKs’ volunteerism could send an important message.
