Lawyers are making their arguments Wednesday in the sentencing hearing for former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his former bureau chief, Shula Zaken. State prosecutors are asking that Olmert be marked as having committed an offense causing disgrace, a ruling that would bar him from seeking public office in the upcoming years.
Olmert gave up his right to benefits as an ex-PM on Tuesday in a bid to avoid a “disgrace” verdict.
