Rabbi Druckman: Migron Expulsion ‘a Crime’

Rabbi Chaim Druckman, head of the Or Etzion Yeshiva and the Bnei Akiva movement, said Tuesday that the expulsion of 50 families from Migron, north of Jerusalem, was “painful and sorrowing.”

“The truth is, it was a crime,” he told Arutz Sheva. He noted that the community was built over a decade ago on unused land, with government authorization, and that “everything was find and then Peace Now came and invented someone’s ownership of the land… Even if it was true, the community was founded with good intentions, so let them give [the owner] compensation.”

Rabbi Druckman expressed disappointment with the ministers who did not speak out for Migron.
