A deputy commander at the Israel Defense Forces flight and special-training center was lightly injured, Tuesday, during a paratroop training jump in the southern part of Israel.

The lieutenant-colonel was evacuated by helicopter to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, east of Tel Aviv.
