Hershkowitz Headquarters: Registrants Can Vote Freely

The headquarters for the re-election bid of Daniel Hershkowitz as chairman of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) said, Monday, that it was in the final stages of processing the details of the nearly 15,000 new party members it has registered during the current registration drive, about two months ahead of the elections. The headquarters said the new registrants would be free to vote their conscience between Hershkowitz and challengers Zevulun Orlev and Naftali Bennett and not whom they are told to vote for.

A statement by the headquarters said, "Ultimately, the religious community wants to refresh the list, [wants a] big party in the government and not in the opposition - all this only Minister Hershkowitz can bring, and that's how we will focus the campaign until the election."
