Four Months Public Service for Uri Blau

As expected, the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court accepted, Monday, the recommendation of the supervisor of community service and sentenced Ha'aretz reporter Uri Blau to four months of community service for taking nearly 2,000 classified documents from Anat Kam, about the time she left the army, and publishing some of the material.

Kam began serving a 54-month prison sentence last November. With hearings in her appeal against the sentence completed, the Supreme Court decided to wait for the Blau ruling to be recorded before making its ruling so that it could determine if there was discrimination between the two cases and their sentences.
