Supreme Court Puts Reasonable Doubt on 2006 Stabbing

The Supreme Court acquitted, by virtue of reasonable doubt, Sunday evening, a man who had started to run an 18-year sentence for manslaughter from the Be'er Sheva' District Court in connection with a clan-related stabbing in 2006.

Ali Abu-Tarash was ordered released after a three-judge panel was convinced that conflicting evidence and changing stories by the witnesses threw a reasonable doubt on his conviction.
