The government of Holland has signed a deal committing to help the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial project. Holland will help fund the process of searching archives relating to non-Jews from Holland who saved Jews during the Holocaust.

In its 50 years of operation, the Righteous Among the Nations committee has recognized 24,000 people as righteous for risking their lives to save Jews. More than 5,200 of them are from Holland.
