A survey reporting that Israel has the third-highest gas prices worldwide appears to have been mistaken, the Latma satire site notes. The survey assessed Israel’s gas price at $9.28 per gallon, when in fact it is 7.70 shekels per liter – or $7.28 per gallon.
It is not clear whether the error was caused by miscalculation or mistaken assumptions regarding prices and exchange rates.
