Abdallah, King of Jordan strongly castigated Israeli policy in East Jerusalem, and called for International intervention, reports Jordanian agency PETRA.
According to the report, the king denounced Israeli policies as ‘incitement to violence that contributes to religious conflict’, warning against the implications of ‘Israeli radicalism expressed in holy sites.” Speaking to Jerusalem representatives, Abdallah vowed Jordan would continue to protect the holy sites and prevent Israeli unilateral steps intended to alter the identity of the city.
