Starting Thursday, the law will require all airlines serving Israel to compensate passengers with 30-75% of the ticket cost following flight delays, early flights or flight cancellations.

For example, a two-and-a-half hour delay on a 950 mile flight to Turkey, Greece or Cyprus will entitle the passenger to 30% compensation. Four hour delays to the Far East will cost the airline 75% of the ticket.
