Syria's prime minister, Wael Al-Halqi, said on Tuesday that the sanctions that have been imposed on his country’s regime have only hurt innocent civilians in Syria.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya TV reported that 83 people were killed in the past 24 hours in clashes between rebels and army forces loyal to President Bashar Assad.
